1 gallon jar of whole dill pickles - I only use Vlassic brand
5 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Drain the juice off the pickles.
Slice the pickles into medium thick slices
Layer sugar and pickles in jar until all sugar and pickles are used.
Put the lid on the jar and shake, roll and toss until the sugar is dissolved.
Do not put in the fridge until the sugar is completely dissolved.
They will be ready to eat in about a week.
