1 boneless beef chuck roast (approximately 3 lbs.)
1/3 cup wine, beef broth or water
1 envelope onion soup mix
Carrots, chunked
Onions, quartered
Potatoes, however many you want, chunked

Directions:
Directions:
Put roast in baking dish (large enough for all ingredients). Add broth and onion soup mix to roast. Bake at 350º for approximately 1 to 1 2/2 hours. Add cut up vegetables around roast and cook another 1 to 1 /1/2 hours until all are tender. You can make gravy with the juices if desired or use the way it is. Also can add cream of mushroom soup to the liquid. Times can vary.
