Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef (for healthier version use 1 pound ground turkey)
1 small onion, chopped
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheese (sharp cheddar, Mexican blend, nacho blend – your choice)
1 can refried beans
2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions:1. Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan
2. In a large skillet, sauté onions until tender. Add beef or turkey and brown over medium heat, stirring until beef is thoroughly cooked. Drain.
3. Place beef or turkey back in skillet and stir in taco seasoning mix. Add water according to package directions. Cook over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. Unroll crescent rolls. Place wide end of triangles in center of pizza pan, forming a ring, and overlap rolls as necessary. The rolls should form a sun.
5. Spoon a layer of refried beans around the inside of the circle.
6. Spoon a layer of the meat mixture on top of the refried beans.
7. Sprinkle a layer of cheese on top of the meat mixture.
8. Now the smaller ends of the rolls can be folded over the mixture and the ends tucked under
9. Bake 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.
