loaf of bread
2 packages shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups raisins
1 piloncillo cone
1.5 cups brown sugar
Pecans are optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees

Bring to boil 8 cups water, raisins, and piloncillo cone. Toast bread slices. Layer bottom ofa square pan with toasted bread. Cover bread with cheese & sprinkle brown sugar over bread.

Pour liquid raisin mixture over cheese & bread. Repeat this for several layers & top off with cheese. Bake until liquid has been absorbed. Serve warm or cold.

**This is a bread pudding that my great grandma Lupe used to make, and my Nanna makes it too. It's sweet, warm, and yummy!
