1 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c butter or margarine
2 T water
1 29 oz can of sliced preaches, drained
12 slices French bread (3/4 in. thick)
5 eggs
1 1/2 c milk
1 T vanilla
Ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Bring brown sugar, butter and water to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat; simmer 10 min., stirring frequently. Pour into a greased 13x9" pan. Top with peaches and arrange bread slices over peaches.

Whisk eggs, milk and vanilla; slowly pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from refrigerator 30 min before baking. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Uncover and continue baking 25-30 min. until bread is golden brown.
