1 c sugar
1/1/4 c. shortening
3 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together, cut in shortening until mixture's consistency is like corn meal. Add vanilla to milk, work eggs and milk in mixture like a pie dough. Chill thoroughly, roll out (not to thin) on a floured surface, cut with cookie cutters. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet, bake at 360 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes.
