11 egg whites
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 ½ C. sugar
1 C. cake flour
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 small can crushed pineapple (drained)
¼ C. candied cherries (quartered)
¼ C. chopped nuts
¼ cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Sift in sugar slowly, fold in flour and salt that has been sifted together 4 times. Add flavoring, cherries, pineapple, nuts and coconut and bake for one hour. Remove from oven and invert pan until cold, then take out and ice.
