1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs (1 at a time)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda scant (a very small amount)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
Alternate sour cream with dry ingredients

Topping for Coffee Cake:
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat Oven: 350º

Cream:
sugar and butter.

Add:
eggs and vanilla extract.

Sift:
flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

Alternate:
sour cream with dry ingredients.

Pour 1/2 of batter in angel food pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 of Topping for Coffee Cake mixture over batter.
Add remaining batter.
Sprinkle rest of Topping for Coffee Cake mixture on top.

Bake: 35-45 Minutes
