1 ½ C. egg whites
2 C. light brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. cream of tartar
1 ¼ C. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Beat eggs thoroughly stiff. Blend and beat in sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla. Fold in flour sifted with salt. Put in cold oven, set heat control at 350ºF and bake 50-60 minutes.
