1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1 t. cream of tartar
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
2 T. sugar
2 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Combine 2 T. sugar and cinnamon. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 400* for 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from pan to cooling rack. 4 dozen
