4 qt. freezer (six quart freezer)

3 (4) cups whole milk
1 3/4 cups (2 3/4) Sugar
1/2 (3/4) teaspoon salt
2 (4 ) cups Half and half
1 (2) Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
3 (4) cups Whipping cream

We use 8 cups half and half and 4 cups whole milk in our 6 qt. freezer. Not as high in calories and still very good

Best to mix the night before to allow time to chill properly. Scald milk until bubbles form around edge. Remove from heat and add sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 min. Then stir in half and half, vanilla and whipping cream. Freeze as directed.
