Sift Together
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 Tsp. soda
5 Tbsp. cocoa

In another bowl:
3/4 cup Wesson oil
3 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tsp. vanilla
2 cups cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first two mixtures and mix thoroughly Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350º for 25 - 30 minutes

Swirl Icing:
2 cups sugar, 2 Tbsp. cocoa, 2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup, 1 stick butter or margarine, 1/2 cup rich milk (Pet), pinch of salt.

Mix well and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly until it reaches full boil stage. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool. Beat until it loses gloss. Spread on hot cake. Cut into squares and serve. (I poke holes in the cake and the icing penetrates and remains moist for days.)
