2cups flour
1/2tsp soda
1/2 cup butter softened
1cup brown sugar
1tsp vanilla
1/2tsp salt
Pkg pitted dates
1/2cup water
1/2cup sugar
1/2cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
In pan-melt dates/water/sugar/nuts.Cool mixture.Cream brown sugar with butter add egg ..Add vaniilla.Mix flour/salt/soda and add to butter mixture.Cool dough.Roll dough to1/2inch thick. Spread dough with layer of date mixture carefully and then roll entire dough piece into log shape and put in fridge. Thinly slice into 1/4 inch slices and place on pan.Bake @400 º for 10 min or until lightly browned. Enjoy
