3 eggs
2 sticks butter
1/4 cup milk
1 teas. vanilla
4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tabls baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and milk. Beat well. Let stand for a few minutes
Add butter and flour a little at a time until mixture forms a sticky dough.
Turn out onto a floured board and knead until dough is smooth adding flour as needed to get the right consistency.
Cut out 2" slices and roll it on the board with your hand making a rope about 3/4" thick
Cut the rope in 4" pieces and form into an "S" and place on a parchment paper
lined cookie sheet
Brush tops with beaten egg
Bake for about 10 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
