Ingredients:
1 c. Butter (must use real Butter)
1 c. Sugar
1 T. White Corn Syrup
3 T. Water
1 1/2 c. Chopped Walnuts
1 - 6 oz. Package Choc. Chips (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9" square pan.
Melt butter, stir in sugar gradually, add syrup and water, cook over moderate heat, stirring until mixture reaches 290 degrees. Add 1 cup of the chopped walnuts, continue stirring/cooking for 3 minutes, then pour mixture into pan. When cooled, coat with melted choc. chips and remaining chopped walnuts.

Options - I don't care for the walnuts, so I delete them from the receipe, I also use wax paper on a cookie sheet because I like to toffee to be thinner.

This is a Christmas favorite that my Gramma, Rosie and my Mother, Joann made for years and now I make it for my family and friends. Enjoy!
