2 cups white vinegar
2 cups water
1/4 cup canning salt
crushed red pepper
fresh garlic
dill (optional)
6 lbs. fresh asparagus

Directions:
Directions:
Mix vinegar, water and salt and bring to a boil. Put 1/2 tsp. pepper flakes, 1 clove of garlic (or more!) and dill in each clean quart canning jar. Pack clean asparagus in jars and pour over to cover, leaving about 1/4 inch head room. Cover and process in boiling water bath for 20 minutes.

Great alone or with a bloody mary!
