1 lb. of grounded Venison
½ lb. Bacon
1 cup diced Onions
2 cans of bake beans (Bush original)
1/2 cup Barbeque sauce
¼ cup Ketchup
3 tablespoons of mustard
¼ cup brown sugar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Brown meat and drain, add all ingredients together, mix well and pour into a casserole dish. Top with bacon slices. Bake at 375º until bacon is done.

The secret to cooking Venison is to not overcook the meat and cook on lower heat than when cooking beef or pork. If you cook a beef dish at 350 degrees cook the same dish using Venison at 250 degrees.
