1 or 2lbs ground beef
2 or 3 small potatoes
1 cup of frozen peas (thawed)
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp corriender powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2-3 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste (about 2 tsps)
1 tsp chopped garlic and ginger (optional)

Directions:

Brown /cook ground beef, put aside.

Peel and chop the potatoes in small cubes and cook/boil till done.

In a separate pot add the olive oil and heat on low heat, when the oil is hot add the following: cinnamon, paprika, corriender, turmeric, salt, garlic and ginger.

Stir fry the masala (the ingredients) in the pot for about 2 minutes on low heat, when it looks like a brown paste add the 1 can of tomato sauce and mix together for 1-2 minutes.

Add the cooked ground beef, the potatoes and the thawed peas and mix well. On low heat, cover the pot with the lid on and simmer for 5 minutes (stir curry once). Remove from stove.

You may serve this curry over plain white basmati rice ( or any rice) or you may serve it with some hot naan ( Indian bread or pita bread).
