4 cups Flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix with enough milk or water, about 1 1/4 c to make stiff dough. Knead well and let set for 15 minutes. In fry pan with 1/4 c butter and 1 tsp of salt , add water 1-1 1/2 deep ( approx 1 cup) when it starts to boil it is ready for the noodles.
Make noodles by rolling between fingers of both hands and shape into rolls the size of finger.
Add noodles and top with one cut up large potato. bring to boil and then reduce to med heat. Close lid tight and cook on med heat until you hear frying ( approx 20- 30 min) Let fry for 3-5 minutes. Do not open until fully cooked.
To make Kraut Nip use the above recipe except pinch off piece's of dough instead of rolling in hands and use 2 cups of sour kraut instead of the potatoes.
