3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 T baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 stick butter, melted
3/4 c. milk
1/2 T vanilla

For Topping:

Colored sprinkles
! large egg for brushing

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl.
3. In another bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, the butter, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
4. Add to the flour mixture and mix with your hands to form a ball of dough that is smooth and no longer sticky, adding flour if necessary.
5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead until it is smooth.
6. Turn out ball onto table, cut into three equal pieces, roll and braid.

Topping of Bread:

7. In a small bowl, lightly beat the remaining egg yolk. Discard the egg white or save for another use.
8. Brush the bread with the egg wash and sprinkle with colored sprinkles.
9. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
