3 medium onions (thinly sliced)
1/4 c. butter
2 cans beef broth (13 3/4)
1/2 c. water
2 t. Worchestershire sauce
4 slices French bread (toasted & buttered)
Parmesan cheese (grated)
4 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, cooked sliced onions in butter until onions are browned and tender. Add broth, water, & Worchestershire sauce. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered for about 25 minutes. Spoon into ovenproof bowls. Place piece of French bread in each bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Top with Swiss cheese. Broil until cheese melts.
