1 C. shortening
C. sugar
C. brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs (beaten)
2 C. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
2 pkg (7 oz.) white chocolate chunks or bits

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Cream shortening, and sugars. Add eggs, sifted flour and salt. Dissolve soda in hot water and add alternately with flour; add vanilla. Add nuts and white chocolate chunks/bits. Drop by tablespoon on oiled cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
