1 C. shortening
1 ½ C. sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ C. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 T. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Sift flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Stir in almond flavoring. Chill. Roll into small balls and roll in 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon, mixed. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
