1/4 c. Margarine or butter
1 1/2 c. Packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. All purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Coarsely chopped macadamia nuts (or sliced almonds)
1 c. Butterscotch flavored chips

Directions:
Directions:
1) Heat oven to 350º. Grease a 13 x 9 pan. Heat margarine and brown sugar in a sauce pan over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until margarine is melted; removed from heat.
2) Beat in vanilla and eggs with electric mixer until blended. Add flour and baking powder; beat until we'll blended. Stir in 1/2 c. Each of nuts and baking chips. Pour mixture into baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and chips.
3) Bake 25-30 minutes or until top is golden brown and center is set; cool. For bars, cut into rows.
