1 pint sour cream
12 green onions, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese
3 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 lb. vermicelli
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (18 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp.salt
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Mix sour cream, chopped onions, cream cheese and set aside. Brown meat and mushrooms. Cook vermicelli and drain. Butter 2 - 9 x 13 inch casseroles. Mix browned meat, mushrooms, sauce and seasonings. In casseroles layer vermicelli, cream cheese mixture, shredded cheddar cheese and meat mixture. Do 2 layers in each casserole. Bake at 350º for 30 to 45 minutes.
