1/3 C honey
1 tsp grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Cardamom, Ground
1/8 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
8 large fresh figs
3 ounces goat cheese (chèvre)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Microwave honey in small microwavable bowl on HIGH 30 seconds or until warmed. Stir in lemon peel, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg. Set aside.

2. Cut a small slice off bottom of each fig so that it stands upright. Quarter each fig, cutting just halfway down the fig. Press a small chunk of cheese into center of each fig. Place on small foil-lined baking pan.

3. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Place a fig on each serving plate. Drizzle with spiced honey and serve immediately.
