1 c. Crisco
1 c. white sugar
1 c. lt. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 t. soda
pinch of salt
2 3/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. white raisins (put in a little warm water to cover raisins)
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven 375.
Cream shortening, sugars and add eggs. Then add flour, soda and salt. Drain raisins then add raisins and oatmeal by hand as dough is too stiff to mix with mixer. Chill for 3 hours. Make into balls and press down a little bit. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, don't over bake!
