2 Cans (6 ounces each) of Real White Crabmeat, Drained
1 Cup of Seasoned Bread Crumbs, divided
1 Egg, Lightly Beaten
1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Green Onion
1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Sweet Red Pepper
1/4 Cup of Reduced Fat Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1/8 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup of Ketchcup
1 Tbsp. of Lime Juice
1/2 Cup of Olive Oil Mayonnaise

In a large bowl, combine crab, 1/3 of the bread crumbs, egg, onions, red peppers,mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and cayenne. Divide the mixture into 16 portions, shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in remaining bread crumbs. Flatten to 1/2 in thickness. In a large skillet, cook crab cakes in butter for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. To make serving sauce, combine ketchup, lime juice, and mayonnaise.

These authentic crab cakes can be served as a main dish or appetizer. You can also use Old Bay seasoning along with fresh crab meat by removing it from the claw.
