"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Soak 2 cups of raisins in warm water for 15 minutes and drain. Unroll crescent rolls triangles and fill with raisins, chopped pecans, cinnamon, and a little piece of butter. Reroll and combine each triangle of the crescent rolls into a ring. Leave 2 remaining unfilled crescent triangles and tear apparent to fill any gaps in the ring. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown and cool. To make the icing, combine 2 cups of confectioners sugar with milk to thicken and add about 1 tsp of vanilla and 2 tbsp of butter. Mix. Pour into three bowls and add drops of food coloring (yellow, green, and red/blue to make purple) & add sprinkles. Drizzle the colored icing in sections over the crescent baked ring.

Personal Notes:
Enjoy a very colorful and yummy Mardi Gras treat for dessert or breakfast! Traditionally, the French added a plastic figurine or dried bean in the filling. The person who gets this piece will have good luck for the year! The colored icings represent yellow (power), green (faith), & purple (justice).
