3 T. Shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 large egg
1/4 to 1/2 c. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, shortening and salt. Beat egg and add to dry ingredients, add enough milk to make a soft dough. Roll out and cut. Cook 15 to 20 minutes in hot broth, stirring occasionally.
