1 onion
1 green pepper
couple of carrots
two or three stalks of celery
cup of frozen peas
can of corn if available
can of green beans (unless you don't like them in soup)
2 cloves of garlic
2 cups of V8
3 cups of water
1 tomato paste
1 lb. ground beef

Directions:
Directions:
brown 1 lb. ground beef if desired
cut up all veggies
saute in skillet with canola oil
pour V8 in a 6 cup sauce pan & heat (do not boil)
stir in veggies
pour in water
season with salt, pepper and whatever you like, to your taste
simmer for 30 minutes or so

Key is to fix it to your taste. Sometimes I leave out the ground beef when I
