1 cup raisins
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup cream
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup water
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put the water, raisins and half the sugar on to heat. Cream the egg yolks with the half of the sugar and add to raisin mixture to thicken. Pinch of salt and add vanilla. Then pour in crust and add meringue and brown.

This my Dad's (Vern Fratzke) favorite pie. It was the first pie I learned to make, but still trying to make meringue that stands up!! :)
