Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 cup sour milk (mix the soda with this milk)
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups peeled diced raw rhubarb (save 1/2 cup for topping)
2 cups flour

Topping:
the saved 1/2 cup rhubarb
mix with 1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Mix cake ingredients. Pour in greased 9"x13" cake pan.
Sprinkle topping over cake.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes
