1/4 c. Vegetable oil
1/4 c. Butter
1 large yellow onion sliced
1/4 t. Cayenne pepper
1 t. Salt
1/2 t. Pepper
4 oz. Cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. Sour cream
1/2 c. Mayo

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium heat. Add onion, cayenne, salt and pepper, and saute for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium low and continue cook, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes more, until onions are browned and caramelized. Cool. Beat cheese, sour cream, and mayo until smooth. Add onions and mix well. Serve with potato chips or crackers.
