6 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, melted
2 T. vanilla or 2 tsp. anise
dash salt

You will need at waffle iron to make these cookies.

In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt and set aside. Beat eggs and add sugar. Continue to beat slowly and add a steady stream of cooled melted butter and the vanilla. Pour flour mixture into the egg and butter mixture. The consistency should be like a soft butter. Spoon into pizzelle iron.
