2 1/2 C all-purpose flour
1 TBS baking powder
3 TBS sugar
3/4 tsp salt
6 TBS butter
7/8 C milk
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt three times.

Cut in butter and gradually add milk to make soft dough. Knead dough lightly on a floured board to 1/2" thickness in round shape. Cut into 12 pie shaped pieces, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
