1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg (separated)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups flour (plus a little!)
sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
cream together butter and sugar. Mix in 1 egg yolk. Add flour and cinnamon.

Spread dough onto slightly greased jelly roll pan. Roll or press with fingers. Brush top with beaten egg white. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and sugar. ( I use raw sugar and red sugar at Christmas and Valentine's.)

Bake at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes
