4 cups sugar
1/4 pound butter or margarine
1 12 fl oz can evaporated milk
1 12 oz pkg semi sweet chocolate pieces
1/3 jar 20 oz marshmallow cream
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in heavy 2 quart saucepan; stir in milk and sugar. Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Continue boiling over medium heat until mixture reaches 234 degrees or soft ball stage, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until melted
Add Marshmallow creme and nuts, stirring until well blended
Pour into greased 13x9 pan. Cool at room temperature cut into squares
