5 Cups tart apple, peeled and sliced
1 1/4 Cups Sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 Tablespoons butter, Softened
1/2 Teaspoon Baking powder
1 Egg, Slightly beaten
1/4 cup Water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apples, ¾ cup sugar, 2 Tbsp. Flour, ¼ tsp salt, cinnamon, vanilla and ¼ cup water in bowl.
Mix well.
Spoon into a 9 x13 baking pan
Dot with 1 Tbsp butter

Combine ½ cup flour, ½ cup sugar, baking powder, ¼ tsp salt, 2 Tbsp butter and egg in bowl.
Mix well.
Drop by large spoonfuls over apples
Bake at 375' for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown
