Apple Strudel Recipe

4 Cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 Cups Butter
2 Eggs, Slightly beaten
5 Apples, peeled and sliced
Sugar Mixture
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and Salt in bowl
Cut in Butter until mixture looks like a coarse cornmeal
add eggs
mix well
Chill
Spread 3/4 of dough in bottom of greased 10 x 15 jelly roll pan
Place apples in rows on dough
Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples
Press remaining dough flat with the palm of your hand
Cut into strip and arrange criss cross fashion over the apples
Bake 350' for 40 -45 minutes or until apples are tender
Glaze with 10x sugar glaze which almond extract has been added
