2 cups sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup milk
2 eggs
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups flour or until stiff
Directions:

cream sugar, shortening milk and eggs
add in baking powder, soda, vanilla, salt
add flour in slowly
bake at 375º
