2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup margarine
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk or sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in milk
4 1/2 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
mix all ingredients in order
roll out on floured surface put a little flour on top till 1" thick cut with glass dipped in flour
put a little granulated sugar on top and 2 raisins that have been soaked in a little water
bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400
they are done when you can not see finger print
