"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
half cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
half cup sugar
half cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup peanut halves
1/2 cup raisins
24 pieces of licorice (usually use Twizzlers but smaller kind
works best)
toothpick or a fork

Directions:
Directions:
Using an electric mixer beat butter and peanut butter together. Add sugar and light brown sugar and continue to beat well. Add egg, vanilla extract, and baking soda and beat well. Set the mixer to low and slowly add in the flour. Cover the bowl and put in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Preheat oven to 350 F. Using hands, roll dough into 1 " balls and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Shape each ball into a mouse shape - kind of like an egg, by tapering one end and flattening on the bottom.

Place peanut halves into the dough to make ears; place raisins on for eyes.
With toothpick or fork, make a 1" deep hole into each cookie for the tail.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until bottom is golden. Remove from oven and insert the licorice pieces into the holes for tails while cookies are still warm.

Cool off for 10 or 15 minutes, then eat...
