1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. corn meal
1tsp baking powder

add:
1 egg beaten
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix by hand.
Pour into an 8" greased cast iron skillet and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes
