1 C elbow macaroni, uncooked
1-lb can tomatoes in juice
1 onion, rough chopped
2 T olive oil
6-oz grated sharp cheddar cheese, more or less

Directions:
Directions:
Bring salted water to a boil and cook macaroni for 7-minutes. Meanwhile, saute onions in olive oil until soft. Add tomatoes (cut them up right in the can) and season to taste. Add a dash of sugar.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain macaroni and place in 1 - 1.5-qt. baking dish. Place tomato mixture and cheese on top. It'll be loose and wet and bake about 45-minutes.
