3 cups flour
2/3 c unsweetened cocoa
3/4 tso salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 sticks butter (unsalted preferably)
1-1/2 c sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 350º

Whisk the flour, cocoa , salt ad baking powder.

Beat butter and sugar with electric beater until fluffy
Add eggs one at a time, mix in vanilla Gradually mix in dry ingredients

Put plastic over bowl or wrap dough in plastic and chill for at least an hour.

Roll dough out on flour board and cut into desired shapes,

Bake on parchment paper 8 to 11 mninutes . Cool on wire rack

Frost with equal parts of butter and cream cheese, powder sugar for consistency ad vanilla.

Frost when cooled

Served these at the Creekside Book club meeting in the heart shape for Valentines Day. They were quite a sensation Kids loved the too!!
