3/4 C melted butter
2 TBS ‘melted/softened’ marzipan
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 C flour

Topping

1 TBS sugar
3/4 C sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In the bowl of your electric mixer add:
melted butter
melted marzipan
sugar

Mix well at medium speed. Add eggs. Mix until creamy.

Add salt, vanilla, almond extract and flour. Mix well.

Grease bottom and sides of spring form pan (9” or 10”). Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle almonds over the top and sprinkle sugar.

Bake for 35-42 minutes.
