1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 T. butter (no substitutes)
2 lbs. white confectionery coating, broken into small pieces (sometimes labeled almond bark or candy coating)
1 to 1 1/2 cups of chopped pecans, walnuts or hickory nuts

Line a 9 in. square baking pan with foil; butter the foil and set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy; set aside. In the top of a double boiler, melt butter. Add confectionery coating; heat and stir until melted and smooth. Pour over the cream cheese; beat until smooth and gloxxy, about 7 - 10 mins. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Cool. Remove from pan and cut into 1-inch pieces. Store in refrigerator.
