Main ingredients:
1 pkg cranberries, sorted and washed
1 1/2 - 2 cups sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or other)
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
optional: 1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Prior to serving:
2 sliced bananas
1 carton whipping cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Put cranberries in a blender with enough water to cover. Blend till chopped up. Drain. Mix with sugar and let sit overnight. Mix in other main ingredients. Can freeze at this point if wanted.

Add bananas and whip cream prior to serving and will keep for several days.

Grandmother always makes this for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is one of Dad's favorites. As a child, I was always drawn to the rich red color of this dish....and the marshmallows, of course. --Jennifer
