1/3 cup butter or margarine
1/2 chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
5 cups soft bread cubes
1 cup Pepperidge Farm Cubed Dressing Mix
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 egg, well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet, melt butter. Saute celery and onion until tender. Combine remaining ingredients and shape mixture into eight balls. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375ºF for about 20 minutes.

Yield: 8 servings

This is as close as I have been able to come to Mrs. Wright's dressing balls. Hints: I leave the bread cubes out overnight or longer to dry out and use chicken or turkey broth.
